Moorhead police officers, through the PAL program, set up a "Giving Tree" at the Police Department after Thanksgiving. Over the days that followed, names of the homeless children staying at Churches United were written on cards and placed on the tree. Officers and PD staff took the cards and returned them with a present. By December 19th, we were able to provide 30 gifts to the children there with the help of a certain jolly old man!
